Our Daughter Acts Like a Carbon Monoxide Detector

Around 11 months, our daughter would have these burst of emotion, communication, energy, or whatever it is.. no one will ever know. She would just have a short shout for a split second “ehhh!” I made the comment that it sounds like a smoke detector that is low on batteries. Now we cant stop laughing every-time she makes this sound, and she just looks at us with new curiosity.

It’s wild that we cannot understand what kids are thinking at this young age. They cannot use words to communicate with us, and they wont remember anything at this age when they grow up. I think my youngest memories were around the end of 2 years old. This is a black box, which will most likely never be understood.

But who cares, for now, we just enjoy our chirping carbon monoxide detector, who acts like its low on batteries, but is actually charged like the energizer bunny!
